Jesse Burlingham brings presence, precision, and purpose to his work as a Licensed Massage Therapist at Zenith Performance and Wellness. He is one of only six certified Master Myoskeletal Therapists (MMT) in Oregon and among just 300 globally to hold this elite designation. His approach blends advanced manual therapy with a deep passion for helping people feel and move better—whether they're athletes, outdoor adventurers, or managing long-standing pain.

The MMT certification, developed by renowned educator Dr. Erik Dalton, requires over 210 hours of advanced training in structural alignment, biomechanics, and pain neuroscience. This methodology targets the root causes of dysfunction—not just the symptoms—by combining principles of osteopathy, physical therapy, and soft-tissue mobilization.

Jesse’s journey is grounded in service. A U.S. Army veteran and former law enforcement officer, he returned to massage therapy in 2018 with renewed purpose: to deliver results-driven, recovery-focused care that supports both physical performance and long-term resilience. At Zenith, he often collaborates with physical therapists and strength coaches to provide fully integrated care.

Clients come to Jesse for more than massage—they come for trusted partnership in their wellness journey. He customizes every session to support mobility, reduce pain, regulate the nervous system, and restore functional movement.

Outside the clinic, Jesse is deeply connected to Eugene’s cycling and outdoor communities. He finds renewal through time in nature, backpacking, long distance bicycling, motorcycling and the companionship of his dog, Journey.

North Star:
To create meaningful connection through healing touch—helping people move with less pain, more confidence, and deeper awareness. Rooted in service, nature, and community, Jesse brings presence and purpose to every session, honoring the human behind the body and the journey behind the pain.

I can’t recommend this place enough! The environment is incredibly intimate and welcoming. Had a spectacular massage from Jesse, and have been working with Michael and they’re amazing. The team here doesn't just see you as another client; they genuinely care about your well-being and want the absolute best for you. It’s rare to find a place that balances high-level performance with such a close, personal touch.

If you’re looking for a community of people who are dedicated to taking care of you and helping you reach your goals in a space that feels like home, this is it. Super grateful for my zenith fam.

What Clients Are Saying About Our Rehab PT

From weekend warriors to elite athletes, our clients trust Zenith for expert care and real results. Here is what they had to say about their experience with our Rehab PT—tailored support that helped them move, train, and feel their best.

Zenith saw an opportunity no doctor had

After a year and a half of uncertainty regarding a lower leg injury I developed my freshman year, working with Jesse Klein is the only reason I can play pain free. After 4 MRIs, a compartment syndrome test, multiple X-rays, and people telling me it was time to give up my sport, Jesse saw an opportunity and brought to the table new knowledge and possibilities to my injury that none of the 3 doctors had mentioned to me. I am so thankful for this company and all they do for my team—but most importantly, huge thank you to Jesse for beating the odds and taking a new approach to heal me. After playing multiple sports my whole life, I knew something was wrong with my leg freshman year (2022). About two weeks into fall camp, I started experiencing swelling to almost double the size of my calf and leg spasms/cramps that would often keep me up at night. I attempted to push through and unfortunately ended up being diagnosed with bilateral tibial stress fractures and placed in a walking boot on my left side and an air cast on my right side for 2½ months, taking away my full freshman season. I went through about 3–4 months of physical therapy and attempted to return in March (2023) of my freshman season, but the pain wouldn't go away. I played through pain for about a month, but the swelling got to the point where I was having a hard time walking, and ultimately led me back to the boot from April to May. From June–August I was on a strict rehab schedule to get me back, which included no explosive or impact movement for the full time. I thought I was healed. I came back in August (2023) and the pain wouldn’t stop. At this point, I reached out to a new company and they wanted to discuss compartment syndrome testing, which ultimately took place in January—one of the doctors told me I should give it up if I wasn't reliant on scholarship. I went on break worried about what to do—and that’s when I met Jesse Klein. My coach introduced me to Jesse in January and told me he had a couple ideas on my injury. At this point I was looking for a miracle. I worked with Jesse from January to May (2024) and I plan to work with him in the future. We did weekly appointments and I followed his program that allowed me to begin play in moderation and keep up with exercises daily. Jesse brings a new view and unique take to PT and I would honestly recommend him to anyone. Because of him I am now pain free and can finally play the sport that I love. I played the whole 3 months of spring season with no pain and I can’t wait to come back and play in the fall. Without Jesse I don't know if I would be able to play anymore—he's made this experience efficient and comfortable, and my coach and I are eternally grateful.

A great team, facility, and experience

A great team, facility, and experience. I went to Zenith to improve my running form and lower back strength, and I was able to accomplish this and so much more. At Zenith, you not only get great treatment, you also get an academic understanding of your own body and how to improve it. I worked with Mike Robinson, and he thoroughly assessed my body's mechanics and diligently worked through all the different areas I wanted to improve. His treatment and instruction empowered me to continue getting stronger and more agile at their gym and on my own time, and I'm walking away with a whole arsenal of new tools to become a better athlete. Looking forward to future sessions with Mike down the road to check on progress and keep optimizing my running!

It’s like I have new legs

I had chronic Achilles tendon and ankle pain from running, to the point that I could not run without making it worse. I had tried tons of different strategies on my own to fix these issues with no progress. Then I got much needed help from Mike Robinson at Zenith. Each session had great coaching, guided exercises, and therapeutic massage. I would not have figured this stuff out on my own; take it from me when I say that the internet cannot evaluate your issues like an expert physical therapist can. Mike was always easy to get in touch with, was always respectful and compassionate, and there was good flexibility with the day/times of the appointments. After a couple months of weekly sessions and doing the prescribed exercises on my own time, it’s like I have new legs. I can move in ways that I haven’t been able to for well over a decade. Now I’m setting goals way higher than I thought possible. Overall I highly recommend Zenith to anyone seeking to eliminate pain or reach new heights in their running.
