RYT 200

Personal Yoga Instructor
The Grounding Guide
Sarah has always identified as an athlete, drawn to trail running, swimming, strength training, and yoga. Through her own practice, she’s learned how mindful movement and meditation support resilience, recovery, and long-term well-being—lessons she brings into every session.
Specialty:
Mindful Movement, Restorative Yoga, Yoga-Based Strength & Mobility, Experiential Anatomy, Post-Injury Confidence Building, Stress & Nervous System Support, 1:1 Personal Yoga
Community:
Sarah is known for her supportive, encouraging coaching style and works within a collaborative, multidisciplinary care environment. She often supports clients transitioning from physical therapy or integrating yoga alongside strength training, massage, or other healing modalities at Zenith.
Sarah first discovered yoga and meditation in college, where she realized the practice was teaching her something she’d never really learned—how to truly relax. Yoga helped her settle her mind, focus more clearly, and move through the intensity of early adulthood with greater steadiness.
Traveling to Southern India later on deepened her practice and curiosity. After completing a month-long silent retreat, something shifted. The clarity and transformation she experienced there inspired her to share these practices with her community.
An athlete at heart, Sarah loves trail running, swimming, strength training, and yoga. She discovered that pairing mindful movement with daily meditation created a deep sense of grounding—especially during major life transitions.
Influenced by the teachings of Judith Hanson Lasater, PhD, physical therapist and yoga teacher, Sarah blends anatomy-informed wisdom with a restorative, down-to-earth style. She completed her 200-hour RYT with Mark Stevens and continues to study meditation, experiential anatomy, and mindful movement.
Sarah is known for her slower, intuitive coaching approach, non-judgmental presence, and ability to help clients develop body awareness, movement confidence, and a steadier inner landscape—whether someone is new to yoga, returning after injury, or navigating stress or life transitions.
While she has years of experience leading large group classes, Sarah is most inspired by individual coaching. Private sessions allow her to understand each person’s story, adapt in real time, and help clients connect with the heart of yoga and meditation: relaxed awareness, resilience, and steadier inner ground.
