Our Process

Step 1:
Find the Root Cause

Zenith identifies root cause

At Zenith, we don’t just treat the site of pain. We perform a comprehensive evaluation of the whole body to find the root cause of pain. The first step in our process is to use a precise yet thorough analysis to diagnose the underlying patterns that can lead to pain.

Step 2:
Relieve Pain

Zenith relives pain

Our initial goal is to get you out of pain as quickly as possible. Pain can affect everything in your life from the activities you do with your family to your general mood and energy. Getting out of pain can drastically improve your overall health and well-being.

Step 3:
Improve Resiliency

Zenith improves resiliency

The best way to address pain is to improve movement patterns and capacity of tissues. We help you move better and be stronger. When you can move efficiently, you become more robust and resilient. Our goal is for you never to need traditional physical therapy again.

We keep going when insurance stops short.
We work for you, not insurance.

The trip was a success — pain free!

I have had a great experience working with Mike @ Zenith! I sought PT after experiencing knee pain while on multiday backpacking trips and then increased knee instability after a climbing fall. Mike assessed my current state and got me started on a program that was easy to jump into. I noticed increased knee stability within a few weeks of being consistent with my exercises. Mike helped me prepare for a 70-mile trip in the Sierra by: supporting me through my training, designing an on-trail warm-up for me, and teaching me techniques to handle my pain if it arose mid-trip. The trip was a success (pain free!) and I have continued working with Mike on stability and strength to train for next summer’s objectives. It has been wonderful having professional support from someone who understands my goals.

The best cross-training habits of my life

After two years with a recurring foot injury, I had very little hope before I started with Zenith and particularly Dr. Mariel Hammond. Her expertise was immediately obvious and her approach was thorough as we worked over the weeks to problem solve and return my entire body to running readiness. Best of all Mariel is one of the most fun and easy to work with people I can imagine. I'm back to running and have established the best stretching and cross-training habits of my life. My only regret is not starting sooner. Thank you Mariel!

Had me walking pain-free in just a week

An absolutely amazing experience! As I trained for my first marathon, the Eugene Marathon, I unfortunately overdid it and ended up injuring myself just 18 days before the race. Fortunately, Jesse, one of the owners of Zenith, overheard my conversation about the pain I was experiencing and recommended this place to me. I met with Mike Robinson, who quickly identified the issue and had me walking pain-free in just a week. With only a week and a half left before the marathon, I had three more sessions here—each boosting my confidence and ensuring I could run without pain. This place is incredible! I highly recommend it to anyone facing a potential setback due to injury. The team's communication, attention to detail, and dedication to their clients are truly exceptional. Five stars without a doubt!

It feels so good to be running pain free

I came across Zenith through a local running class. I had been trying to deal with knee pain through my own strength training and stretching. After no progress on my own, I saw Jesse, who quickly figured out the source was my previous spinal nerve damage flaring up. My pain was gone within a week following a light stretching and strength regime. I’ve seen several physical therapists for my back, and while they were all generally great, Jesse seemed the most knowledgeable and understanding. He didn’t force me to do bridges when I said they felt awful to me and instead came up with a different exercise that still helped me build strength in my at-home plan. It feels so good to be running/moving pain free.

Feeling Great After Massage with Jesse

Jesse is a fantastic massage therapist. He’ll always concentrate on issues if you’re having them; otherwise, he gives a wonderful whole-body massage. I feel great after one of his massages and he is also great at giving advice for various muscle issues.

The Right Balance of Challenge and Care

“I’ve been taking small group strength training classes under Alex’s tutelage for about six weeks. Alex is an excellent fit for me. He is incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, a great listener, passionate about helping me and others gain confidence while developing our strength. His guidance in helping me maintain correct position and posture while lifting has been key. He strikes just the right balance of moving me forward while at the same time helping me rein in my proclivity to overdo and hence injure myself. He is warm, personable, and dependable. I am SO GLAD I’ve taken the opportunity to work with Alex.”
