Zenith Performance and Wellness was created and is operated by Jesse Klein, DPT, OCS, CSCS. He has experienced athletics, training, and rehabilitation from both sides of the injury and has vast experience working with people of all ages and athletic levels.

Jesse earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh; where he was a a 4-year letter earner, 2-year captain of the soccer team, a tutor, and was involved in multiple extracurricular committees and councils. He then earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from St. Catherine University; where he graduated with a 4.0 GPA. During his second year, he was one of four program Teaching Assistants and was selected by faculty to serve as the sole Program Tutor.

As a physical therapist, Jesse enjoys getting to know his clients beyond their primary complaint, and utilizing a combination of education, manual therapy, and exercises to help them recover. He enjoys working with people of all ages and abilities, but does especially enjoy working with those establishing or returning to a work out program, and those pursuing endurance sports. Jesse has extra training in the realms of wellness and can help with strategies to create a more well balanced life. In 2022, he became a Certified Barbell Rehab Method Therapist- focusing on helping those with pain continue to exercise and train through their issues.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, two cats (the cutest cats in the world, objectively), running, reading, and generally hanging out.

10/10 — Life-changing, comprehensive program and treatment!

I had been dealing with chronic neck, shoulder, and back pain for two years following multiple injuries. I was progressively getting worse and eventually could no longer participate in many of my normal activities. Before coming to Zenith, I had been given a permanent disability diagnosis, was being referred to neurosurgeons, and was told I might never feel like myself again or play volleyball. The pain was affecting every part of my life.

Within just two months at Zenith, I am pain-free and back to my former athletic self! Jesse was able to pinpoint the underlying cause rather than simply treating my symptoms, and we were able to decrease my pain and limitations surprisingly quickly. The hour-long sessions were thorough and addressed multiple issues, and I was given a home program that helped me continue progressing between sessions.

As I improved, I transitioned into additional services at Zenith, including strength training, yoga, and group training twice a week. I have my youthful self back!

I'm incredibly grateful to Jesse and everyone at Zenith. The combination of individualized treatment, education, and ongoing strength and movement training has truly been life-changing. I highly recommend Zenith to anyone who feels like they've tried everything and isn't ready to accept a permanent pain or disability.

What Clients Are Saying About Our PT

From weekend warriors to elite athletes, our clients trust Zenith for expert care and real results. Here is what they had to say about their experience with our PT—tailored support that helped them move, train, and feel their best.

Private yoga that ties perfectly with PT and massage

Sarah is terrific! I learned so much from her 1:1 yoga session, and have a new understanding of yoga in the small group sessions. And it ties perfectly with the PT and massage I love at Zenith

A clear plan to rehab a year-long shoulder injury

I went to see Mariel Hammond for a chronic shoulder injury I had been dealing with for about a year. I chose Mariel because I had done strength training with her in the past that I really enjoyed and I had full faith that she would commit to helping me rehabilitate my injury as she has done with several other people I know. Thanks to Mariel I now have a solid, well structured physical therapy outline for the future that will continue to help me be able to play the sport I enjoy and live more comfortably in my day to day life. My experience with Zenith was amazing and I definitely plan to stay in contact as I go off to school!

Top-notch care helped me get my life back

I’ve received top-notch care from everyone at Zenith Performance and Wellness! I’ve been seeing Jenn for the past year for low and mid-back pain related to an injury I sustained in 2006. I used to be incredibly active, but two years ago, I was at a point where I could hardly do anything because I kept throwing my back out. I couldn’t even walk around the hills in my neighborhood without being in significant pain. Today, I’m able to do many of the things I used to enjoy—dancing, kayaking, surfing, and taking Pilates classes. I definitely have to listen to my body and know my limits, but I truly believe that if you’re committed to doing the exercises your physical therapist gives you, you will see results. Jenn has been AMAZING! She really knows her stuff and has played such an important role in helping me get my life back. Everyone at Zenith takes the time to really understand what’s going on with you. Their initial evaluation is incredibly thorough, and you can tell they genuinely care about their patients. I’m constantly referring people to Zenith because, honestly, they have changed my life. Jesse Klein, the owner, completed my initial evaluation, and he was fantastic. I’ve also had a massage with Jesse Birmingham, who did an amazing job. Ally, the Client Experience Specialist at the front desk, is incredibly warm, welcoming, and caring.
