Strength training plus yoga - the perfect combo

Rebekah D

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Ropheka grew up being active outdoors and playing recreational sports but had never stepped foot in a gym. After being sidelined by several sport related injuries herself, she was inspired to gain a better understanding of how to properly train for the activities she loves, and be able to stay active and strong for a lifetime of adventure.

Ropheka earned her Associates of Applied Science Degree in Exercise & Movement Science at Lane Community College. She is a certified personal trainer and exercise therapist through ISSA (International Sports Sciences Association). Her passion is to equip others with the tools they need to thrive physically and create a healthy lifestyle for themselves.

Outside the gym, she loves to surf, hike, float the river, and have picnics on paddleboards. She also enjoys cooking and trying new recipes from different countries -especially Thai food!

Strength Coach, Eugene, OR

Sarah first discovered yoga and meditation in college, where she realized the practice was teaching her something she’d never really learned—how to truly relax. Yoga helped her settle her mind, focus more clearly, and move through the intensity of early adulthood with greater steadiness.

Traveling to Southern India later on deepened her practice and curiosity. After completing a month-long silent retreat, something shifted. The clarity and transformation she experienced there inspired her to share these practices with her community.

An athlete at heart, Sarah loves trail running, swimming, strength training, and yoga. She discovered that pairing mindful movement with daily meditation created a deep sense of grounding—especially during major life transitions.

Influenced by the teachings of Judith Hanson Lasater, PhD, physical therapist and yoga teacher, Sarah blends anatomy-informed wisdom with a restorative, down-to-earth style. She completed her 200-hour RYT with Mark Stevens and continues to study meditation, experiential anatomy, and mindful movement.

Sarah is known for her slower, intuitive coaching approach, non-judgmental presence, and ability to help clients develop body awareness, movement confidence, and a steadier inner landscape—whether someone is new to yoga, returning after injury, or navigating stress or life transitions.

While she has years of experience leading large group classes, Sarah is most inspired by individual coaching. Private sessions allow her to understand each person’s story, adapt in real time, and help clients connect with the heart of yoga and meditation: relaxed awareness, resilience, and steadier inner ground.

I started going to Zenith with the goal of fitting in consistent strength training. The strength training program with Rophekah is fun and changes just when you're ready for more of a challenge. Zenith makes it easy to show up and get a great workout in.

I am also very happy to work with Sarah on yoga and meditation. Sarah is so knowledgeable and generous in sharing her knowledge. This has been a great accompaniment to strength training and a practice that I find trickling into my everyday.

I encourage anyone interested in strength, yoga, or meditation to try Zenith out!

I PR things regularly and I'm stronger than ever

I love this place and the people who work there! I've been doing personal training for about 4 years now with them, and physical therapy from time to time as needed. Everyone I have worked with has been top notch, friendly and very helpful. I rehabbed from my ACL reconstruction, and got back to normal. My chronic back issues are under control thanks to lifting heavy with Ropheka. I'm stronger than ever. I PR things regularly, and I always look forward to my sessions! Cannot recommend enough!

Hybrid PT + Strength Training Journey

While at Zenith I have segued from a focused PT program to a hybrid PT/personal training program and into the Ultimate Athlete program. In each step of my recovery and maintenance, the guidance has been excellent. I have worked one on one, and in small groups with Ropheka, and have received knowledgable and focused attention in the process of rehabbing multiple subacute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries and deficiencies, with emphasis on optimizing form and technique. I am extremely happy with the progress I have made with her help in regards to my core strength, and mobility, in addition to joint and spine stability, and my ability to maintain a very active lifestyle confidently and without injuries.
