5 Year Anniversary of Zenith-PNW.

Five years ago, I started Zenith because I thought healthcare could be done differently.

At the time, I wasn't trying to build a business as much as I was trying to build the kind of clinic I wished existed in Eugene.
I had seen incredible physical therapists working within systems that often limited what they could do. Appointments were short, productivity was emphasized, and there wasn't always enough time to understand the whole person sitting in front of you. I also knew there was another way.
The idea behind Zenith was pretty simple: spend the time with people, listen well, understand what matters to each individual, get to the root cause of issues to help people long term instead of band-aiding things, and help people get back to doing the things they love. Whether that's running a marathon, playing with their kids, competing in their sport, or simply getting through the workday without pain, those goals deserve care that is thoughtful and personalized.
Five years later, that central idea hasn't changed.
What has changed is everything that has grown around it.

What started as one clinician bringing a portable treatment table, kettlebells, resistance bands, and a secondhand laptop to people’s garages or public parks has become a team of physical therapists, massage therapists, strength coaches, and staff who genuinely care about helping people move better and live more active lives.
Together, we've had the privilege of working with thousands of people in our community, from youth athletes taking their first steps into organized sports to runners chasing personal bests, weekend warriors, masters athletes, parents and grandparents trying to stay active enough to keep up with those crazy kids, and people simply trying to feel like themselves again. We’re woven into Eugene’s wellness and movement community.

One thing I didn't fully appreciate when I opened the clinic was that building a healthcare practice is about more than patient care. For better or worse, it has to be to grow and remain functional.

It's also about creating a place where people enjoy coming to work. A place where clinicians have the time to think, collaborate, continue learning, and
practice in a way that aligns with why they entered health and wellness fields in the first place. Watching our team grow from a single PT, to two PTs, to a full team has become one of the most rewarding parts of these past five years.
Along the way, we've learned plenty. Some ideas have worked better than expected. Others have required us to adapt, rethink, and improve. That's part of building anything worthwhile.
But the original idea has held up.
We still believe that better healthcare and wellness starts with listening. That movement is one of the best investments people can make in their health. And that the best outcomes come from treating people, not just injuries.

To everyone who has trusted us with your care, referred a friend or family member, partnered with us, worked alongside us, or simply encouraged us over these past five years-thank you. You've helped shape Zenith into something much bigger than any one person could have built alone.
Five years is a meaningful milestone, but it also feels like we're still early in the journey. We're excited to keep learning, improving, and serving this community for many years to come.
